David Clifton

David Clifton has a diverse work experience in the water industry. David worked at Affinity Water as the Head of Data and Architecture from December 2021 to the present. Prior to that, they held the role of Enterprise Solutions Architect from January 2013 to January 2022, and Applications Development Manager from December 2010 to January 2013.

Before joining Affinity Water, David worked at Veolia Water Group Services as a Senior Applications Developer and subsequently as an Applications Development Manager from September 2009 to November 2010.

David'searly career started at Three Valleys Water, where they served as an Internet Applications Developer and Oracle Developer from September 2001 to September 2009.

David Clifton obtained a Certificate for Computer Maintenance and Networks Pathway from Nottingham Trent University in 2000. David then pursued a Higher National Diploma in Computer Studies at the same university from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed a National Diploma in Computer Studies at Basford Hall College from 1996 to 1998. In 2003, David earned a Software Engineering BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Nottingham Trent University. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Artificial Intelligence Foundations, Learning Ansible, DevOps Fundamentals, Transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Project Management, TOGAF 9 Certified level, Intermediate Certificate in Enterprise and Solution Architecture, and Practitioner Certificate in Enterprise & Solution Architecture. Lastly, they received an Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) 9i certification from Oracle in 2006.
