Heather Laura Clarke has been working in the media and communications industry since 2005. Heather Laura began their career as a News Reporter and Features Columnist for The Daily News in 2005. In 2008, they began working as a Freelance Writer and Editor for their own business, Heather Laura Clarke. That same year, they also began working as a Senior Project Manager and Content Producer for Optio Publishing. From 2011 to 2022, they worked for SaltWire Network in various roles, including Manager of Content Marketing, Content Marketing Editor, Columnist of The Mom Scene, Columnist of My Handmade Home, and Features Writer. In 2022, they began working as a Marketing and Communications Manager for AffinityClick Inc., a Canadian mobile development company specializing in communication apps.

Heather Laura Clarke has a Bachelor of Journalism (Honours) degree from the University of King's College, obtained in 2005.
