Jun Zhang

Jun Zhang has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. They began their career as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Purdue University from September 2009 to September 2011. Following this, they joined Eli Lilly and Company as a Research Scientist in Formulation and Drug Delivery from October 2011 to August 2016. At AbbVie, they worked as a Senior Scientist II in Drug Product Development from September 2016 to December 2020. In 2021, they held the position of Director of Formulation Sciences and Drug Product Manufacturing at Magenta Therapeutics until January, after which they became the Director of Drug Product Formulation and Process Development at Affinivax Inc.

Jun Zhang holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Calgary. They also have a M.E. in Biomolecular Engineering/Biophysics from Tohoku University and a B.Ch.E. in Applied Chemistry from Central South University.
