Maksim Gutman

Maksim Gutman is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager at Affirm, Inc. since January 2020, Maksim has previously held key positions such as Engineering Manager, Backend at Coffee Meets Bagel, and Co-Founder & CTO at Polymorph, a company specializing in ad serving tools acquired by Walmart. Maksim's career began at Eventbrite, where contributions included leading software engineering efforts in payments and helping to scale the engineering team significantly. Additional experience includes leading software development at Adteractive and Red McCombs Media. Maksim holds a Master of Science in Software Management from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Science in Management of Information & Systems from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Management of Information & Systems from Baskin Engineering at UCSC.
