Maribel Berges is an accomplished leader in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Affirma Biotech SL since September 2020, where the focus is on developing solutions for Multi Drug Resistant and Chronic Infections. In addition, Maribel holds the role of Academic Director for in-company courses at UPF Barcelona School of Management, directing training programs for scientific entrepreneurs. Previous leadership experiences include Chief Executive Officer at Ability Pharmaceuticals, CEO at JANUS DEVELOPMENT S.L, and Vice President of CataloniaBio & HealthTech. Maribel has also contributed to various organizations such as ASEBIO and the Fundació Bosch i Gimpera, emphasizing technology transfer and entrepreneurship.
