Peter Gierak Bfa-Mat-Msmhc

Peter Gierak BFA-MAT-MSMHC is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education and counseling. Currently serving as a Counseling Intern at Affirmations since June 2012, Peter provides individual and couples counseling. Education includes a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and multiple degrees from Wayne State University, including a BFA in Painting and a Master's in Education. Prior to the counseling role, Peter spent over two decades in the Detroit Public Schools as a Kindergarten Teacher and Science Teacher, and also held various management positions in the service industry, including ownership of Peter Christians Florist and General Manager at Continental Lanes.
