Maitry Desai, PMP, CP APMP, has a strong background in business development and proposal management. Maitry has held various roles at Affordable Engineering Services, starting with a position as a Graduate Intern on the Engineering Business Development Team in 2012. In this role, they assisted with developing new business ventures, strategic planning, and implementing ERP for the financial accounting department.

Since then, Maitry has progressed within the company, taking on roles such as Business Development/Marketing Specialist from 2013 to 2017. In this position, they led the company's new business development strategies, conducted market research, and managed opportunity databases and pipelines.

From 2017 to 2021, Maitry served as a Business Development & Proposal Manager. During this time, they led market and opportunity research, initiated and led reviews to inform pursuit and bidding decisions, and worked with executive leadership to create expansion plans.

Most recently, Maitry held the role of Sr. Manager, Business Development & Proposal Management from 2021 to 2022. In this position, they collaborated with cross-functional teams, developed a bid pipeline, and performed analysis to support informed Bid/No Bid decisions.

Currently, Maitry is working as the Director of Business Development and Proposals, leveraging their extensive experience to drive expansion and growth in new market segments for Affordable Engineering Services.

Maitry Desai, PMP, CP APMP, holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Electronics from V.E.S. Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their educational background, Maitry Desai has obtained multiple certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Maitry holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in March 2021. Maitry also completed the APMP® Bid and Proposal Management Practitioner 2020 certification offered by APMG International in March 2020. Furthermore, they obtained the APMP Bid and Proposal Management Foundation certification from APMG International in August 2019.

Maitry Desai has also pursued various online certifications. Maitry completed the Microsoft Power BI - A Complete Introduction course from Udemy in January 2021 and obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in December 2020. Maitry also completed the Microsoft Excel Essentials and Microsoft Project Certification courses from Udemy in December 2020.

Additionally, Maitry Desai has participated in executive education programs. Maitry completed the Business Analytics - Customer Analytics and Business Analytics - People Analytics programs offered by Wharton Executive Education in August 2016. Maitry also completed the Business Foundations - Marketing and Business Foundations - Operations Management programs from Wharton Executive Education in July 2015. Furthermore, they completed the Marketing in a Digital World program from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in July 2015.

Maitry Desai has also obtained several other certifications and participated in courses related to project management and technical skills.
