Marcos Miranda has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Marcos most recently served as Vice President at AFG Group, Inc., where they oversaw estimators for the renovation of labs at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and managed budget reviews for interior fit-outs at the General Services Administration (GSA). Prior to this, they held the position of Program Director at McKissack & McKissack, where they managed a $3.5 billion renovation and construction program for the District of Columbia Public Schools. Marcos also served as an Engineering Support Contractor at Sorg and Associates, responsible for project management of Job Corps Centers. Other notable positions include Director of Engineering & Construction at CSX, Regional Manager at Edwards & Kelcey, Inc., NE Regional Materials/ILA Manager at Kiewit Construction Co., and Project Manager at O'Brien-Kreitzberg, Inc. Marcos Miranda holds certifications as a Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Marcos Miranda earned their BPS with Honors in Construction Management from Pratt Institute from 1989 to 1994. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include being a Procore Certified: Project Manager (Core Tools) and a Procore Certified: Project Manager at Owner (Project Management), which they obtained in October 2020 from Procore Technologies. Marcos also holds a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification from the Biopharma Institute, as well as a CCM certification from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and an OSHA 30-Hour certification from the American Safety Council, Inc, all obtained in July and September 2017. Furthermore, Marcos Miranda is a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional), although the date and institution of obtaining this certification is not provided.
