Mesfin Medhin

Mesfin Medhin is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in HVAC system design, project management, and quality assurance. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at AFG Group, Inc. since April 2018, Mesfin provides technical assistance and quality oversight on NIH Bethesda campus projects. Previously held the position of Program Manager at McKissack & McKissack, where responsibilities included reviewing HVAC designs and managing construction in the DC public school system. With earlier roles at Allen & Shariff Engineering, WEDGCO Engineering, KES Engineering, and John J. Christie & Associates, Mesfin has developed expertise in energy modeling, life cycle cost analysis, and mechanical design coordination. Mesfin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with education from Mississippi State University, Marquette University, and the Faculty of Technology in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
