Tomas Urbanec is an experienced leader in the fields of venture capital and management consulting, currently serving as Chairman and Managing Partner at Golden Peak Consultancy since April 2016. In addition, Tomas holds a specialist position at AFG Partners, a FinTech VC Fund, beginning in April 2021. Recent experience includes a role as Chief Operating Officer at Kroolo, a company focused on AI-powered productivity, from November 2023 to July 2024. Prior to these roles, Tomas was the Chief Executive Officer at Prudential Assurance Company Singapore and held various leadership positions at Prudential Corporation Asia, ACE Insurance Ltd, and AIG. Educational credentials include an MBA in International Finance from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and a BS in Finance and Financial Management Services from Indiana University Bloomington.
