Gerald Swanke

Gerald Swanke is currently serving as the National Vice-President at the American Federation of Government Employees since 1997. Prior to this, Gerald also held the same position at AFGE since March 1993. With a background as an Electronics Technician at the Idaho National Guard from 1982 to 1994, Gerald graduated from Boise State University with an Associates degree in Applied Electronics from 1988 to 1992. In their current role, Gerald focuses on attracting and retaining top American workers to government service while emphasizing citizen control and accountability for government performance.
