Pierfrancesco Basilico

Pierfrancesco Basilico is the current General Manager of AFI ESCA Italie. Pierfrancesco has over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, having held various positions in sales and marketing.

Basilico began their career as a Sales Director for SkyRec Company Group. Pierfrancesco then moved on to become the Director for AIG Europe Mass Marketing Division. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for the division.

In 2006, Basilico joined Fiditalia as their Sales Director for Large Accounts. Pierfrancesco was then promoted to Head of Italian CPI Division at Cardif Assicurazioni in 2011. In this role, they oversaw the development and implementation of credit protection products for the Italian market.

Basilico joined AFI ESCA in 2013 as their Responsible Multimedia Corporate Communication. In this role, they were responsible for developing and managing the company’s multimedia communications. Pierfrancesco was then promoted to General Manager of AFI ESCA Italie in 2016.

In their current role, Basilico is responsible for the overall management of the company’s operations in Italy. This includes developing and implementing strategies for growth and expansion in the Italian market.

Pierfrancesco Basilico attended the Università degli Studi di Milano from 1979 to 1984, where they studied medicine. Pierfrancesco also attended the Scuola Militare di Fanteria e Cavalleria from 1982 to 1983, where they graduated as an Officer OF-1 and studied military operational art and science/studies. Finally, they attended the Liceo Ginnasio Dante Alighieri from 1974 to 1979, where they studied classical studies and received a high school diploma.
