Jackie Stone's work experience begins with their role as a Legislative Relief Reporter for the Associated Press in 2009. Jackie then moved on to work as a City Editor and Reporter for the Killeen Daily Herald, where they also served as the Editor of the Cove Herald. In 2011, Jackie joined the Austin Post as a City/Political reporter before becoming an Advocate for the loveisrespect National Teen Dating Abuse Helpline.

Jackie then transitioned into the field of digital marketing and media, starting as a Social Media Editor for the Austin American-Statesman and Austin360. Jackie later became an Audience Development Manager, overseeing social media strategy and digital marketing management for CMG newspapers. Jackie also worked as the Audience Development and Engagement Manager for the Statesman Media, focusing on acquisition, engagement, advertising, and retention growth.

In 2018, Jackie became a Contractor/Freelancer as a Digital Marketing and Media Specialist. Jackie then worked for Viacom International Media Networks as an Audience Acquisition and Analytics Manager, responsible for audience acquisition strategies and analytics for UK's Channel 5 VOD services. Jackie also built data-based audience forecasting and LTV models for the company.

Jackie's next role was as a Writer, Editor, and Digital Marketing Consultant while self-employed. Jackie then joined Arnold Marketing Consultants as a Brand Strategy and Digital Marketing Manager in 2020. Currently, Jackie is the CMO of Afia, where they lead their marketing efforts and brand identity, focusing on making Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food more accessible while giving back to the community.

Jackie Stone pursued their Bachelor's degree in Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin. Jackie completed their education in the field of Print Journalism from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, they acquired a certification in SQL for Data Science from the University of California, Davis on Coursera in March 2019.
