Aakash Patel

Aakash Patel has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Aakash started as a Cover Designer at Cleveland State University in 2015. Later that year, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. In 2017, they joined Philips as a Software Engineering II where they developed test automation framework for CT scan systems and executed automation tests for medical devices. Aakash then moved to Afiniti in 2017 and held multiple roles including ETL Engineer and Senior Associate ETL Engineer. In these roles, they successfully deployed and maintained Afiniti's enterprise technology for major consumers, reduced data handling time and storage space utilization, and implemented query optimization and data cleaning practices. Aakash is currently working at Afiniti as the Lead Data Engineer.

Aakash Patel completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from L.D. College of Engineering in 2014. Aakash then pursued a Master of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from Cleveland State University, graduating in 2016. Recently, they obtained certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in December 2021.
