Omar B.

Omar B. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Omar worked at Afiniti as the Director of Global HRBP, leading the Engineering, SID, and AIDI departments. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Global HRBP, managing the Engineering and SID departments.

Before joining Afiniti, Omar worked at Jazz as the Head of Talent Management, Performance, Learning & Development. Omar was responsible for driving the future-proof initiative of the company and providing customized learning and organizational development solutions. Omar also served as the Head of Learning & Development, where they played a key role in transitioning Jazz from a core telco to a digital/fintech company.

Omar also had experience as a Learning Partner, HR Business Partner, and Compliance Investigations Officer at Jazz. In these roles, they provided strategic guidance and support to various divisions of the telecommunications company in Pakistan.

Additionally, Omar co-founded and worked as a Partner at Trillium English School System. Omar also gained experience as a Relationship Manager at Barclays Bank.

Omar B. obtained their Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Finance, Accounting, and Management from the University of Nottingham from 2007 to 2010. Before that, they completed their International Baccalaureate at Greengates School Mexico from 2005 to 2007 and their IGCSE at St. John's College from 2001 to 2005. Omar'searlier education includes attending Roots High School from 1999 to 2001 for grades 6-7, P.S. 158 The Bayard Taylor School from 1995 to 1999 for grades 2-5, Ecole De-Budé from 1992 to 1995, and Garran Primary School from 1990 to 1992. In terms of additional certifications, Omar obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in July 2019 and the Google Data Analytics Certificate from Google in 2022. Omar also has a certification in Internal Control Risk Management for Pakistan, obtained from CrossKnowledge.
