Dawn Newton

Dawn Newton is the current Afissio Advisor at Afissio. Dawn has also worked with Netki, Inc., The Vancouver Observer, Le Cordon Bleu, United Online Inc./Juno/NetZero, Threshold Foundation, and Newton Consulting. From January 2003 to December 2006, they were a student at Le Cordon Bleu and received an Associate Degree in the Culinary Arts. Dawn has also been trained in Italy, Japan, and the US under several Michelin Star Chefs. From January 1998 to December 2003, they were the Technical Support Director at United Online Inc./Juno/NetZero. From June 2006 to March 2014, they were self-employed and worked with early stage startups. Some of their responsibilities included providing strategic vision and direction, developing business plans, sales projections, budget forecasting, pitch deck content and design, key personnel via network, and industry specific market research. From January 1996 to December 1998, they were the Dir Technical Support at Interaccess. From January 1985 to December 1990, they were the Supervisor Tech Support Reception at Microcom.

Dawn Newton's educational career includes obtaining an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu Paris, as well as a Mass Communication/Media Studies degree from DePaul University.
