Merrick Gearing

Merrick Gearing possesses extensive experience in both education and food chemistry, currently serving as a High School Teacher of Physics at North Crowley High School since September 2019 and previously as a Chemistry Teacher at Chishom Trail High School. Concurrently, Merrick has held the position of Food Chemist at Analytical Food Laboratories since November 2016, where responsibilities include analyzing food products for nutritional information, adhering to stringent regulatory standards, and providing technical expertise to clients. Merrick's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology, a Master's Degree in Biochemistry, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Texas A&M University. Additionally, Merrick has significant research experience, including collaborative projects, clinical studies, and teaching assistant roles during an academic career at Texas A&M.
