Brendan Bieder is a Senior Accounting Analyst at the AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust, having joined the organization in July 2022. Prior to this role, Brendan held positions as a Senior Associate and Staff Accountant at Baker Tilly US from October 2018 to July 2022. Brendan's early experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Richmond, contributing research to the book "Called to Account: Financial Frauds that Shaped the Accounting Profession," and working as a Finance Intern at Alexander Wang Inc., where responsibilities included organizing audit documents and performing bank reconciliations. Brendan also completed a summer internship at Strong Arm Technologies managing supply chain accounting and worked as a Macroeconomics Tutor at the University of Richmond. Brendan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a Concentration in Finance and a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Richmond, along with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Esade.
