Lauren Miller is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Deputy Director of Public Affairs at AFL-CIO since August 2023. Previously, Lauren was the Director of Communications at the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School, where responsibilities included overseeing communications strategy and the renowned John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum. Lauren served as Senior Advisor and Digital Director for U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren, managing online communications and executing significant fundraising and campaign efforts that raised approximately $21 million in 2012. Lauren's career also includes roles at Bully Pulpit Interactive, Blue State Digital, and the California Democratic Party, showcasing expertise in online advocacy, communications strategy, and team leadership. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Middle Eastern & North African Studies from UCLA.
