Melissa Scaglione has a diverse work experience starting in 2004 until present. Melissa worked at AFL CIO as the Ohio State Campaign Program Director and Ohio Data Coordinator from 2013 to present. Prior to that, they worked at Jonathan Varner & Associates as a Senior Account Executive from 2008 to 2013. Melissa also had a role as a Graduate Assistant at The University of Akron in 2007 and volunteered for Andy Padrutt for Mayor in the same year. Additionally, they worked as a Team Leader at Fieldworks from 2005 to 2006 and as an Assistant Team Leader/Canvasser at America Coming Together in 2004.

Melissa Scaglione has pursued a diverse education path, beginning with their enrollment at the Rhode Island School of Design from 2002 to 2004. During this time, they focused on their passion for the arts, specializing in Fine Arts with a concentration in Painting, earning a B.F.A. degree. Following this, Melissa attended Brown University from 2003 to 2004, where they delved into the realm of Political Science, achieving a B.A. degree. Lastly, they enrolled at Kent State University from 2005 to 2007, majoring in Political Science with a focus on Policy, and was awarded a B.A. degree.
