Angela Burnette, MBA, CISSP, CCSP, serves as the Director of Cybersecurity Assurance and Regulatory Compliance at Aflac, where previous roles included Senior Manager of Cybersecurity Laws and Regulations and Senior Manager of Global Cybersecurity Assurance. Prior experience includes positions as a Senior Information Security Consultant and Application Control Assessment Program Manager at SunTrust, as well as roles in Information Security Incident Management. Angela's career began at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Documentation Specialist, and also includes experience as a Paralegal and Office Manager at Kontoh Scott & Associates, P.C. Angela holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Governors State University and furthered education at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2010 to 2012.
