Morissa Fregeau

Morissa Fregeau is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and compliance. Currently serving as Corporate Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel at Aflac since September 2020, Morissa has a strong background in providing legal counsel to business operations, particularly in digital strategies and regulatory matters related to federal laws such as Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act. Prior experience includes roles at UnitedHealth Group as Associate General Counsel, and at Sun Life Financial and Genworth Financial in various counsel positions. Morissa's legal career began at GE Financial as an attorney and paralegal, complemented by earlier experience in social services and mediation. Morissa holds a Juris Doctor degree from Western New England University School of Law, a Master’s in Counseling from Antioch University New England, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Sociology from Antioch University.
