Rebecca Hansford

Rebecca Hansford is an accomplished communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as Director and Head of Communications and Marketing at the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) since August 2015, Rebecca has also held roles such as Head of Media Relations and European Media Relations Manager. Prior to this, Rebecca was a Senior Account Manager at Moorgate Communications, managing high-profile accounts including a major German bank. Additional experience includes a role as a Translator for the European Parliament and a Trainee Translator for the European Commission. Rebecca holds a Financial Markets Foundation Qualification from ICMA Centre, an MA in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Westminster, and a BA in French and Italian from The University of Manchester, complemented by ERASMUS studies in Italy and France.
