Yvonne Appiah is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and finance management. Currently serving as the Controller at the Association for Financial Professionals since January 2017, Yvonne leads a team of three accountants in supporting Board Finance & Audit committees and collaborates closely with senior leadership. Prior to this role, Yvonne worked as Assistant Controller at Americatel from 2005 to 2010, where responsibilities included managing year-end audits, overseeing the General Ledger and Accounts Payable teams, and coordinating month-end closing processes. Yvonne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University at Albany, obtained between 1987 and 1990.
