AFPSLAI is a private, non-stock and non-profit savings and loan association established and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in 1972. AFPSLAI aims to promote industry, frugality and savings among its members. This P71.69 billion (as of end of December 2016) organization is supervised by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. To date, there are 21 branches nationwide and 50 extension offices established in strategic locations to serve more than 500,000 members from the AFP, PNP, BJMP and BFP and its civilian employees.
