Evan Tucker

Evan Tucker is a data scientist with a PhD in Physics, specializing in developing insights through various modeling techniques, including machine learning and Bayesian inference. They have served as a Data Scientist at Socially Determined since 2022, focusing on Social Determinants of Health risk models, and they co-founded Black Lab Analytics, where they currently hold the position of Chief Data Scientist. Previously, Evan worked as an Analyst and Senior Data Scientist in R&D at the Atlanta Braves, contributing to baseball operations. They also hold multiple degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Arizona, reflecting a strong academic foundation in Physics. Currently, Evan is a Senior Data Scientist at Afresh while continuing to engage with the field through their work at InnerSpace.
