Teresa Clarke

Teresa Clarke serves as the Chairman of the Advisory Board at the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art since April 2022, overseeing the largest collection of African art in the United States. In addition, Teresa is a Board Director at American Tower and Gallagher, contributing to the Audit Committees at both organizations. Teresa holds a position on the Board of Advisors for the Rhodes Scholarship Trust and chairs Africa.com LLC as Executive Editor. Previous roles include being a Board Director at Cim Financial and Chairman of Change Financial LLC. Teresa has experience in high-level advisory roles, including serving on the President's Advisory Board on Doing Business in Africa and achieving the milestone of being the first Black woman appointed as Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. Educational credentials include an MBA and JD from Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School, respectively, along with an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University.
