Dennis Mugisha

Dennis Mugisha has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Dennis is currently serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at Africa Finance Corporation since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Bank of Africa - Groupe Bank of Africa as the Group Human Resources for the East Africa Region from April 2021 to December 2021, and as the Country Head of Human Resources from April 2017 to March 2021. Before that, they held the position of Human Resources Manager at Coca-Cola Beverages Africa from May 2015 to April 2017. Dennis has also worked at Stanbic Bank, where they had various roles including Human Resources Business Partner, Junior HR Business Partner, Senior Human Resources Administrator, and Human Resources Administrator, spanning from 2007 to 2015. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing HR strategies to support business objectives.

Dennis Mugisha has a Bachelor of Information Science degree from Makerere University, obtained from 2004 to 2007. In 2010 to 2011, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources from Uganda Management Institute. Afterward, from 2012 to 2014, they completed a Masters in Management Science in Human Resource Management, also at Uganda Management Institute. Dennis furthered their professional development by attending GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science) from 2016 to 2017, where they earned a degree called "The Next Manager" in Human Resources Management. Prior to their university studies, they completed their secondary education at Lubiri Secondary School in 2002 and 2003, with a focus on Arts.
