Soumendra K. Dash

Soumendra K. Dash, Ph.D, CP3P, currently serves as a Member of the Board for the Compliance and Best Practice Committee at AVCA - The African Private Capital Association and as Vice President of Risk Management at Africa Finance Corporation. Previously, Soumendra held the position of Principal Credit Risk Officer at the African Development Bank Group, where responsibilities included assessing transaction and sovereign risks. Additional experience includes serving as Chief Economist and Head of Sovereign Risk at CARE Ratings, where creditworthiness and risk assessment of sovereign entities were primary focuses. Earlier roles included professorship at IFIM, specializing in Capital Market and Financial Risk.
