Kate Ginikachi Okorie

Kate Ginikachi Okorie is an accomplished Science Writer with Africa InSight Communications, contributing to the bird Story Agency since July 2022. Notably, Kate participated as a Storify Africa Fellow with Africa No Filter from June to October 2023 and served as a Journalism Fellow with the Women Radio Centre, selected as one of only 21 Nigerian female journalists for the 2023 cohort. Additionally, Kate held the position of Public Health Thought Leadership Fellow with the Boston Congress of Public Health from April to August 2023, and worked as a Creative Content Creator for the PSN-Young Pharmacists Group, developing the Life as a Pharmacist series. Prior experience includes a role as a Medical Journalist at Pharmanews Limited and internships within various health-related organizations. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Media and Communication Studies at the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University, Kate holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
