Africa International University (AIU) is a private chartered Christian University located in Karen-Nairobi, Kenya. The institution is committed to the vision of developing Christ- Centered leaders in Africa educated to transform God’s people and the world.

We are committed to offer education with a passion for God, His word and His world, passion for truth, integrity, service, excellence, justice and creation. Critical to this pursuit is a core university teaching staff that strives to integrate the evangelical faith with their disciplines.

The institution boasts of a diversity of both faculty, staff and students from different countries from Africa and beyond totaling to 32 nationalities. The variety found here informs the quality of higher education offered. Our mission is to educate Christ centered leaders for the transformation of God’s people and the world through innovative programs, research and community engagement.

We have 3 schools namely; Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology (NEGST); School of Education, Arts and Social Sciences (SEAS); School of Business and Economics (SBE). 

The university has modern amenities to make students’ stay comfortable and resourceful. We have a well-stocked library with books and modern learning materials. We have various modes of study ranging from evening classes, weekend classes, full-time, modular, school based and open distance and blended e-learning. 

Our intakes are in January, May and September and school holidays for school based.

The Academic and Teaching team at Africa International University (AIU) is dedicated to fostering academic excellence and integrating evangelical faith with various disciplines. This team, comprising lecturers, professors, teaching assistants, and research assistants, is responsible for delivering high-quality education across AIU’s three schools: the Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology (NEGST), the School of Education, Arts and Social Sciences (SEAS), and the School of Business and Economics (SBE). They conduct lectures, guide research, mentor students, and facilitate various modes of study to ensure the development of Christ-centered leaders capable of transforming God's people and the world.
