Carlos Gil has extensive work experience in sales, specifically in the areas of telecommunications, renewable energy, and oil and gas. Carlos is currently serving as the Head of Regional Sales Americas at Africa Mobile Networks Ltd, where they focus on providing cellular network solutions for remote communities. Prior to this, Carlos was the Head of Global Sales Operations at Caban Systems, where they worked on renewable energy systems and smart storage solutions. Carlos also held the position of Group Sales Head Americas at i engineering Group and Sales Manager Latin America at Bird Technologies / Delta Mode. Carlos began their career as the Sales Director Latin America at SAE Inc., where they achieved significant projects in the oil and gas industry. Carlos also has experience as the National Sales Manager for Mobile Phone Accessories at Motorola Mobile Devices and as a Regional Sales Director at Glenayre Electronics.

Carlos Gil completed their Master's degree in International Business from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they pursued an IEC degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1985 to 1990. In addition to their formal education, Carlos Gil also obtained the certification of CP2 Cathodic Protection Technician from NACE International in August 2018.
