Cedric Mutoni is an experienced data science and information systems professional currently serving as Director of Data Science and Information Systems at Africa Quantitative Sciences since June 2023. Cedric's extensive background includes roles such as Senior Data Scientist, Student Mentor at Microverse, and Care Coordinator at Althea SP, where significant efficiency improvements were achieved through data-driven solutions. Previous experience includes serving as a Junior Economist at the National Bank of Rwanda, where Cedric led a team to enhance data accuracy and revenue, and as a Refugee Assessment Specialist at UNHCR, conducting comprehensive interviews and data analysis to improve needs assessments for refugees. Cedric holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Liverpool John Moores University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Financial Engineering at WorldQuant University.
