Morgan Lloyd serves as the Public Programming and Docent Coordinator at the African American Museum in Philadelphia, where oversight includes the docent and volunteer guide program, alongside conducting tours and assisting with special events. As Co-Founder and President of 1838 Black Metropolis, Morgan leads efforts to reclaim and restore suppressed Black histories through various educational initiatives. A Journalism Fellow at Montclair State University, Morgan contributes to "Stories Invincible," focusing on transformative narratives from communities of color in South Jersey. Morgan has participated in professional development programs such as the Museum Professionals Seminar at The Studio Museum in Harlem and held fellowships at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, emphasizing Black and Indigenous histories. Additional experience includes roles as Artist Assistant, Editorial Intern, and a Freelance Filmmaker.
