Diallo Sumbry

Diallo Sumbry is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cultural resource management, education, and partnership development. As the Founder and President of The Adinkra Group since 2003, Diallo leads initiatives focused on arts, cultural exchange, and small business development within the African diaspora. In addition, Diallo has served as the Director of Partnerships for African Ancestry since 2018, facilitating connections for individuals of African descent to trace their roots through DNA testing. Diallo's commitment to education is evident from a long tenure at the University of the District of Columbia, where contributions as a College Preparatory and Youth Development Professional, including various leadership roles and teaching positions, have established a strong reputation as a visionary leader. Diallo holds a Master's degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of the District of Columbia.
