Bara Alaya has a diverse work experience in the finance and investment industry. Bara started their career as a Visiting Professor at the University of Manouba in 2007. In 2006, they joined Tunisie Valeurs as a Sr. Financial Consultant. Bara then went on to work as the Chief Executive Officer at an Investment Company from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they became the Head of Investment at CDC, where they were responsible for overseeing due diligence, evaluation, and deal execution for direct and indirect investment activities. From 2014 to present, they have been working at the African Development Bank Group, initially as a Senior Expert in Private Equity, and currently as a Principal Investment Officer.
