Caroline Kende-Robb has extensive experience in various organizations and advisory roles. Caroline currently holds the position of Senior Director of Strategy and Operational Policies at the African Development Bank Group. Caroline is also a Member of the Board of Trustees at CAMFED - Campaign for Female Education. In the past, they have served as the Director of the Board of Directors at Global Financial Integrity and as a Senior Adviser and Senior Fellow at the African Center for Economic Transformation. Caroline has also held the role of Secretary General at CARE International and has been a member of the Global Future Councils on Africa, Justice, and Inclusive Growth at the World Economic Forum. Caroline has worked as Chief Adviser to Rt Hon Gordon Brown at The Education Commission and as Executive Director of the Africa Progress Panel. Prior to that, they held a senior management position at the World Bank Group and served as a Senior Social Development Specialist at the International Monetary Fund.
Caroline Kende-Robb obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Liverpool in 1983. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Social Policy and Planning in Developing Countries from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) between 1993 and 1994.
