Mamadou M'Baye

Mamadou M'BAYE has extensive work experience in various roles within the African Development Bank and other organizations. Mamadou started their career in 1997 as an IT Consultant on the FED-Orumbo Boka project at SODEFOR, where they collected and analyzed data for a socioeconomic survey on forest occupation. Mamadou also designed automated reports and dashboards during this time. In 1998, Mamadou joined the African Development Bank Group as a System Analyst, where they digitalized various business processes and advised staff on utilizing information technology for improved work efficiency. Mamadou managed key IT helpdesk activities until 2007. From 2009 to 2011, Mamadou worked as a Budget and Resource Management Coordinator at the African Development Bank, overseeing the organization's budget and resources. From 2011 to 2013, they held the position of Senior Performance Monitoring Officer, analyzing business performance and work program delivery for senior management. Mamadou also designed innovative solutions and monitored the implementation of projects funded with the capital budget. From 2013 to 2015, Mamadou served as the Senior Performance Management Officer, providing analysis on business performance and work program delivery to senior management, as well as designing innovative solutions to improve business performance. Since December 2015, Mamadou has been serving as the Principal Portfolio Management Officer - Private Equity at the African Development Bank, where they are responsible for managing the bank's private equity investments.

Mamadou M'BAYE has a diverse education history. Mamadou obtained a Mastère Professionnel in Accounting and Finance from Time Université in 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Diplôme d'ingénieur en Informatique in Management Information Systems from Institut National Polytechnique Félix HOUPHOUËT-BOIGNY de Yamoussoukro (INP-HB) Officiel in 2004. In 1997, they completed a Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie (DUT) in Informatique, also from INP-HB, specializing in Information Technology. Before their university studies, they attended Collège Notre Dame d'Afrique where they obtained a Baccalauréat Série C in 1993. In addition to their formal education, Mamadou M'BAYE has obtained various certifications, including Executive Presence & Influence: Persuasive Leadership Development Certificate from The Wharton School in 2023, and Entrepreneurship and Leadership, Managing a Strategic Business Unit, and Piloting your Business Unit Strategy certificates from HEC Paris Executive Education in 2022.
