Masahide Marco Yamaguchi

Masahide Marco Yamaguchi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in transport, logistics, and climate finance. Currently serving as Manager of the Transport and Logistics Division and Manager of the Non-Sovereign Infrastructure Finance Division at the African Development Bank Group since September 2018, Yamaguchi has a strong background in promoting sustainable development in emerging markets. Previous roles include Principal Investment Specialist at the Global Green Growth Institute, where Yamaguchi led initiatives to promote green investments in developing countries, and Lead of Sustainable Energy Finance at the International Finance Corporation, focusing on climate finance in Latin America and the Caribbean. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance, Asuka Asset Management, Global Ventures Associates, L'Oreal, and Mitsubishi Co. Yamaguchi holds an MBA from The Wharton School, along with degrees from INSEAD, FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, Waseda University, and Universidad de Granada.
