Shebo Nalishebo

Shebo Nalishebo is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Executive Director and Alternate Executive Director for Botswana, Malawi, Mauritius, and Zambia at the African Development Bank Group since August 2022. As a Director at Quadrant Research Limited since February 2020 and a Board Member at the Bank of Zambia until June 2025, Nalishebo has extensive experience in research and policy analysis, particularly in public finance and taxation. Previous roles include Research Fellow at the Zambia Institute for Policy Analysis and Research and Economic Census Manager at the Central Statistical Office, where advisory duties on economic surveys and national accounts statistics were performed. Nalishebo holds an M.Sc. in Statistics from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from The University of Zambia, complemented by advanced training at international institutes.
