Spankie Boitumelo

Spankie BOITUMELO began their career in 1994 at Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC) where they served as a Trainee Accountant before being promoted to Regional Finance Manager and eventually Manager: Corporate Finance. In 2000, they joined Botswana Savings Bank as the Finance and Administration Manager. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as the Financial Controller at MedRescue International (Botswana), and from 2006 to 2008, they held the positions of Group Company Secretary and Chief Finance Officer at Botswana Insurance Holdings LTD. In 2008, Spankie BOITUMELO joined African Development Bank where they assumed various roles, ultimately becoming the Chief Performance Management Partner: Delivery Support and Implementation.

Spankie BOITUMELO obtained a BComm degree in Management and Accounting from the University of Botswana, graduating in 1988. Later, from 1992 to 1994, they pursued a degree in Accounting, specifically the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, at the University of Derby.
