Yolaan Aguemon

Yolaan Aguemon has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Yolaan began their career as a Broadcast Journalist at eNCA, where they provided live reports, breaking news, sports updates, and more. Yolaan then joined Africa.com LLC as the Head of Content, where they were responsible for delivering unique storytelling and news content. Currently, they serve as the Social Media Lead at the African Development Bank Group.

Yolaan Aguemon earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Media Studies and Film from the University of Cape Town in 2005. Yolaan then pursued a Bachelor of Philosophy (BPhil) in Journalism at Stellenbosch University from 2006 to 2007. Later, they attended Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in International Politics.
