Abdelrahman Fahmy

Abdelrahman Fahmy has over 17 years of extensive experience in IT and engineering, currently serving as the Manager of DevOps and Cloud at the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) since August 2010, where initiatives include the design, automation, and deployment of bank-wide projects, and optimization of deployment pipelines using CI/CD, GitOps, Kubernetes, and Docker. Previously, Abdelrahman held roles such as Assistant Manager for both DevOps and Banking Applications, leading support for core banking systems, managing the SWIFT payment platform, and enhancing business applications aligned with ITIL frameworks. Before joining Afreximbank, Abdelrahman worked at Raya Integration as a Senior Engineer and was involved with Alpha Product as a Developer focusing on embedded systems and electronic circuits. Educationally, Abdelrahman holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Control Engineering from Menofia University, completed in 2004.
