Chipo M.

Chipo M. is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in credit and enterprise risk management. Currently serving as the Director of Credit & Enterprise Risk Management at African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) since February 2017, Chipo previously held the position of Senior Manager in Enterprise Risk Management. Prior to this role, Chipo spent several years at Standard Chartered Bank, where responsibilities included Senior Credit Manager and Regional Credit Portfolio Manager for Africa from January 2014 to January 2017, as well as Head of Credit for Consumer Banking in South Africa and Zimbabwe from March 2007 to September 2012. Chipo holds a Master's degree in Business Leadership from Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe, with additional studies at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
