Esther Rumbidzai Makamure

Esther Rumbidzai Makamure is a seasoned professional in the banking and finance sector, currently serving as Senior Manager of Structured Trade Finance at African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) since October 2018, following a role as Manager of Client Relations. Previously, Esther held the position of Country Head of Corporate Banking at BancABC Zimbabwe and spent several years at Banc ABC as Senior Manager of Corporate Banking. Early career experience includes roles as Relationship Manager at ZB Bank and Credit Analyst at Standard Chartered Bank. Esther holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from Steinbeis-Hochschule-Berlin and an MBA in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations from University of Steinbeis IBR, complemented by management leadership training at Stellenbosch Business School.
