Kelechi Enwerem MBA, CA, FCA is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in credit quality assurance and internal control. Currently serving as a Credit Quality Assurance Specialist at the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) since December 2016, Kelechi previously held the position of Regional Head of Internal Control at Zenith Bank Plc from 2005 to 2016, and was the Head of Internal Control, Portfolio Management & Compliance at Zenith Bank (Gambia) Limited from January 2014 to December 2015. Earlier career experience includes roles at Conoil Plc, where responsibilities encompassed fixed assets accounting, accounts payables, billings, and reconciliations. Kelechi holds an MBA in Financial Management from Obafemi Awolowo University, a BSc in Accounting (2.1) from the University of Calabar, and a Master of Philosophy in Development Finance from Stellenbosch Business School.
