Sola Salami

Sola Salami, PhD, is an accomplished Enterprise Information Technology Architect at African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) since July 2019, specializing in the development and maintenance of technology and solution architecture for the bank's Information Systems. Additionally, since January 2011, Sola serves as a Software Developer for The Code Blue, focusing on bespoke and custom applications. Previously, Sola held various leadership roles at FirstBank Nigeria from August 2007 to July 2019, including Development Team Lead for Bespoke Applications, where the design and implementation of custom applications facilitated revenue generation and growth across subsidiaries in Sub-Saharan Africa. Earlier experience includes a position as a System Analyst and Engineer at the National Examinations Council. Sola holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Computing from the University of South Africa, as well as a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.
