Arindam Gupta

Arindam Gupta has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Arindam currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer - Non Steel Business at African Industries Group since February 2021. Previously, they held the position of Vice President at Century Plyboards (I) Limited from August 2016 to February 2021. Prior to that, they were the Head of International Business at Aegis - A Century Plyboards (I) Limited associate Company from November 2014 to July 2016. Arindam also has experience in the Tata Steel JV Company, where they held multiple roles including General Manager & Corporate Quality Head, and Chief- HR/IR/ Admin & Corporate Quality Head. Arindam started their career as a Management Trainee at Steel Authority of India Limited in August 1993 and progressed to the position of Manager before leaving in February 2006.

Arindam Gupta's education history begins with their completion of ICSE & ISCE at St. Paul's School in Darjeeling from 1981 to 1988. Following this, they attended the National Institute of Technology Agartala from 1988 to 1992, earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

In 2008, Arindam Gupta enrolled at XLRI Jamshedpur and obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Development in 2009. In the same year, they also completed the Business Excellence Leadership Program (BELP) - GOLD from Tata Business Excellence Group (TBExG).

In 2000, they completed the EARA approved course in Environmental Auditing (India) from the Confederation of Indian Industry. In 2002, they obtained the Internal Quality Audit ISO 9000 : 2000 certification from the Department of Electronics - Govt of India.
