Emmett Wesley

Director of Stakeholder Management at African Leadership Group

Emmett Wesley has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2008 as a Member Services Leadership Team at TCU Campus Recreation & Wellness Promotion. In 2010, they interned at TechnoServe as a Cotton Team Intern, and later that year they were a Resident Assistant at Texas Christian University. In 2011, they worked at UBS Wealth Management as a Private Wealth Management, and in 2013 they were a Graduate Research Assistant at both The Mastercard Foundation and Oklahoma State University. From 2015 to 2018, they held two positions at ALU Education, first as Head of Talent Acquisition and then as Recruitment Associate. Finally, since 2018 they have been the Director of Stakeholder Management at African Leadership Group, where they have managed high stakes events, designed and managed the ALU Residency, and more.

Emmett Wesley obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics from Texas Christian University between 2003 and 2007. Emmett then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Development Economics and International Development at the University of California, Berkeley, which they completed in 2010. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Complaints Resolution Official (CRO) from Norwegian and a Professional Engineer from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
