Nishna Pillay ACMA CGMA has a wealth of professional experience spanning from 2008 to the present. In 2008, they began their career at Deloitte South Africa as an Audit Senior. Nishna then moved to Global Wealth Management Solutions in 2010 as a Senior Client Accountant. In 2011, they held two positions simultaneously; Financial Analyst at Dialectyx and Commercial Financial Analyst at Europcar. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at PayPoint plc, first as a Senior Financial Planning Analyst and then as a Senior Commercial Analyst. In 2018, they took maternity leave. Upon returning to the workforce in 2019, they took on two roles simultaneously; Senior Finance Manager at Affinity Water and Board Trustee at Hatfield Women Refuge. Nishna is currently the Head Of Financial Planning Analysis at African Leadership Group.

Nishna Pillay ACMA CGMA has a diverse educational background. In 2003, they attended the University of Hertfordshire to study Law. Nishna then attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. From 2014 to 2018, they attended The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and obtained CIMA, CGMA, and ACMA certifications in Management Accounting.
